Lazy Game Reviews – usually known by the acronym LGR – is a YouTube channel focused on retrotech and older games that just passed a milestone.

LGR Thrifts is a series of videos wherein host Clint Basinger visits Goodwill stores – a nonprofit store chain in the US that us South Africans would just call a “charity store”.

While there is a focus on finding older tech and big box PC games, the series also has the appeal of digging up those odd wonders you can only find in such stores. If you’ve never visited one before and seen such sights like this horrifying Smurfs painting, then you’re missing out.

Aside from that draw the videos are very relaxing to watch and easy to binge on, which is why we’ve embedded the full 40-episode playlist below. Despite that number and the fact that most of these are around 15 minutes, we’re sure many people only finding these now will watch through everything before the end of the week.

If you just want to watch the latest instalment you can do so here, and make sure you subscribe to the channel if this is your sort of thing.

While the wait between thrifts videos can be a bit long (the first episode was uploaded in 2014) the other content on the channel is fantastic even if you only have a passing interest in the subject matter.
