Neil Cicierega releases an uncomfortable new remix

There are few people on the internet we love more than Neil Cicierega.

Without knowing his name you probably know his work: Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate DestinyPotter Puppet Pals and the smashup albums Mouth SoundsMouth Silence and Mouth Moods are probably deeply ingrained in your brain already.

That’s why it’s an event every time he uploads something new, but we’re not sure about his latest remix titled Drywall.

As with some of his other songs this heavily uses Wonderwall by Oasis. But, instead of being catchy and fun to listen to, Drywall is just unpleasant.

Yes either as a joke for Halloween or just as a shitpost, this song is heavily distorted and grating to sit through.

On top of that audio, the visuals are also harsh and the video description contains nothing but an epilepsy warning that you should heed.

If this is your first conscious encounter with Neil Cicierega’s work you may be discouraged to look into the rest of it, especially his music and remixes which some even consider to be better that the original work it is based on.

This, however, is just a bit of a joke and maybe something you can play to irritate your friends and family.

The last time we wrote about this artist was for his game Monster Breeder, which you can play entirely in your browser. And at this point, if you’re thinking “wow, this guy can do everything”, then you’re correct.
