Captain Marvel’s granny punching justified in new trailer

After months of waiting we finally have another trailer for Captain Marvel, with the movie set to hit cinemas on 8th March 2019.

We get more Carol Danvers backstory together with, most importantly, confirmation that the old lady she punched in the first trailer is indeed a Skrull.

Jude Law is rather menacing here and Captain Marvel herself is looking a bit Super Saiyan-y. The only thing missing is a de-aged Clark Gregg who is confirmed to be in this film. As this movie takes place in the 90’s you can continue to ignore Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and his resurrection therein for a while longer.

Funnily enough part of this trailer was spoiled by a previously-unannounced LEGO set which showed up in Canada. 76127: Captain Marvel and The Skrull Attack revealed the aircraft as seen at about 1:10 into the trailer, which many are speculating to be an early version of the Quinjet.

This trailer also comes a few days after the reveal of a new poster which is, as always, a very generic affair with the tried and true orange and blue contrast.

If this isn’t enough MCU for you, there are rumours that we’re going to be getting a trailer for Avengers 4 before the week is out. This will, hopefully, reveal the title for the film which has been kept secret all this time.
