The Huawei MateBook X Pro boasts a 91 percent screen to body ratio

Huawei’s notebooks have grown from strength to strength over the years and at MWC 2019 today the manufacturer showed off a new notebook that is positively gawk-worthy.

The notebook in question is the MateBook X Pro and before we dive into specs we have to make note of the display.

The 13.9inch display has a 3 000 x 2 000 aspect ratio. What makes this display particularly gorgeous is the 91 percent screen-to-body ratio.

On to specifications. The notebook is powered by an 8th Generation Intel Core i7 or i5 processor. Driving that display is an Nvidia GeForce MX250 with 2GB of GDDR5 memory.

To drive all this tech Huawei has built a 57.4Wh battery into the body the body of the notebook and it says you should be able to enjoy 12 hours of video playback on a full charge. Mileage may vary.

Other noteable features include a Dolby Atmos Sound System and the recessed camera hidden in the keyboard that the firm has used previously.

The MateBook X Pro will start at €1 599 for the i5 iteration and €1 999 for the Core i7 iteration. Locally availability has not yet been announced.
