Samsung Galaxy S10 advert accidentally aired on Norwegian TV

We are hours away from Samsung revealing its next smartphone and we’re scratching our heads as to why a presentation is happening at all.

Thanks to leaks we already know that three Samsung Galaxy handsets will be announced, we know that a hole-punch design has been selected for the camera and there are three cameras at the rear.

Now thanks to a TV commercial aired on Norway’s TV 2, we know a bit more about the handset.

The advert confirms the in-display fingerprint scanner, wireless charging, wireless-reverse charging, the hole-punch front-facing camera design and wireless charging for Samsung Galaxy Buds.

The advert was spotted by a reader of The Verge but their original video appears to have been taken down. Naturally, this being the internet somebody was able to clip the advert and post it online where it will likely remain forever.

With all of these features having already been confirmed the point of a big reveal seems almost, silly.

That having been said, Samsung could be trolling its fans by dropping red herrings ahead of its announcement. That’s an incredibly unlikely possibility but one we feel must be mentioned.

We’re also expecting a folding handset from Samsung so even though we know what to expect from the Galaxy S10, we’ll be tuned in.
