Late last year we jokingly called Tesla the “Supreme” of tech companies after that released a batch of limited edition surfboards.
Naturally they sold out fairly quickly, and it now seems as if Tesla is copying the playbook of every popular YouTuber and going the merch route.
More specifically the company created a storefront on Amazon, with Electrek being the first to spot it. As of writing the storefront has been removed, but not before a few sites were able to catch glimpses of the merchandise that will be on offer.
According to a couple of screenshots from TechCrunch, the Tesla storefront will feature things like mugs and pens decked out in blackout colourways, as well as including iPhone covers and mouses. They also have miniature diecast models of their electric cars for sale too.
As such they could make for some great stocking stuffers if you know someone that’s a big Tesla or Elon Musk fan.
We’ll have to wait and see when the Tesla storefront goes back online, with no word from the carmaker as to why the page was pulled in the first place, or indeed what their plan for branded merch will be.
That said, we’re quite keen to check out the storefront in full, as Tesla cars are still not available to purchase in South Africa. This means will have to settle on the diecast version until Musk and Co. can get things sorted for local electric car enthusiasts.
