Later this year Kaspersky Lab will host the Industrial Cybersecurity Conference in Sochi, Russia.

The conference will bring together industrial cybersecurity experts from around the world to discuss trends and address concerns surrounding the topic of operational technology cybersecurity.

Ahead of the conference, Kaspersky Lab has issued a call to cybersecurity experts to submit research and stories that address the topic of operational technology cybersecurity.

A conference committee will select papers it feel address the topic and those who submitted the paper will be given an opportunity to present to delegates at the conference later this year.

Last year’s conference included 250 delegates from 20 countries and this year it’s likely to grow even bigger. For those looking to present research or present a talk, this looks like the perfect opportunity.

Should addressing your peers in Russia be enough to convince you to submit your research paper, Kaspersky Lab has said that those whose submissions are picked by the conference committee will have their trip expenses covered.

The submission deadline is 1st June so there is a bit more time left to make a submission. Papers can be uploaded and submitted on this page on the Kaspersky Lab website.

You can see a summation of the 2018 conference in the video below.
