This story contains maybe the smallest and stupidest spoiler about Avengers: Endgame. The directors of the movie say that the moratorium on spoilers is over but we’re not including it in the headline and we’re giving you this warning.
Okay so the Hulk dabs in Avengers: Endgame. The scene where the new version of the character is introduced has been uploaded in HD by Marvel themselves, and they cut it right before the dab actually happens.
The absolute cowards.
Now we have to ask why this was done. Does Marvel want to save that part for paying movie goers because they consider it a good “joke”, or are they trying to hide it away because they realised it was bad after the fact?
We can only assume it’s the former reasoning because why else put this clip out into the wild?
If you’re a bit hazy on the scene from watching it in theatres or have read this far because you don’t intend to see the movie at all: just a second or two after this clip ends Hulk says the word “dab” while not actually doing the move.
Again, we’re not sure if this is a joke (nerd Hulk doesn’t know exactly what a dab is) or maybe it’s a physical limitation thing. Is the CGI model of the Hulk just too bulky to do a proper dab? We may never know.
Man we’re really rambling at this point. Listen: the clip – which has been titled “Hulk Out” – is available on YouTube and has been uploaded officially so it’s not some cam rip. We don’t know why the dab was cut and we just want to stop speaking about this now.
