Reddit community pops up around Steve Rogers’ time travel adventures

— This story contains spoilers for Avengers: Endgame—

At the end of, well, Endgame, Steve Rogers had spent a lifetime with Peggy Carter like he had always wanted. This posed a big question that the film doesn’t answer, however: what did Rogers do for all those years with his knowledge of the future?

As expected memes aplenty started popping up to answer this question, usually in the format of a screenshot of the character reacting to something, and a caption of some historic event.

Over the weekend this particular format was given a community on Reddit in the form of /r/TimeTravelSteve. At the time of writing it has only been up for two days now but has already amassed around 15K subscribers.

We assume users from other similar subreddits – like /r/MarvelMemes and /r/ThanosDidNothingWrong– are flocking to the new community to post / repost their attempts at this new format.

We suggest visiting the sub yourself but we’ve also embedded some of the top posts down below.

It’s a bit serendipitous that the top post on /r/TimeTravelSteve (the first image below) is about Game of Thrones, as the last time we highlighted a Reddit community it was /r/FreeFolk, where subscribers continue to mock the poor quality of writing in the last season of the show.

Finally, this one is a crosspost from /r/PrequelMemes, but we’d be remiss not to include it:
