Western Digital reaffirms South African presence with diverse portfolio

Earlier today Western Digital held a local event for media in which it reaffirmed the importance of South Africa for the company, also revealing a more diversified portfolio of data storage devices for its customers in the region.

The company adds that these devices will give local consumers access to a wider range of WD and SanDisk branded products.

“The amount of data that people generate is growing exponentially year on year, highlighting a shift in storage habit that is currently underway not just globally but also locally. Storing data is not just about unlimited space, but also about security. Western digital offers secure, high-performance high-capacity and high-quality storage to cater to the growing needs and lifestyles of consumers in South Africa,” said senior sales manager for Western Digital in Africa, Ghassan Azzi.
