FNB expands its banking app services to track savings and health

Earlier this month First National Bank (FNB) announced that all their e-Bucks members would be able to book domestic and international flights using their FNB banking app.

Now the financial institution has announced more news for their users, as it is expanding its banking app with financial services for third-party products.

According to IOL News, FNB has expanded the Nav functionality on its app, which now allows customers to set and track their savings, health and fitness goals for free, as well as order prescription mediation.

“We understand that our clients have challenges in their lives, and we are trying through this platform to help them make smart choices and to help them save money and make better life decisions,” explained FNB head of retail, Raj Makanjee.

Furthermore FNB said that the app would notify customers when their medicine is ready for pick-up at the nearest Dis-Chem, adding that the more FNB customers use the platform, the more service providers they plan to integrate.

“Travel aspirations, flight bookings, permanent discounts and monthly deals could be realised through the expanded platform,” concluded Makanjee.
