Nvidia highlights 10 upcoming games that will feature RTX support

Much has been made of ray tracing as the next big development in PC gaming, which is why Nvidia has been talking it up quite a bit at Gamescom 2019 this week. We’ve already seen the silicon maker announce RTX support for Minecraft in a collaboration with Microsoft, and now the firm has highlighted a further nine upcoming titles that will be supported.

To that end a video has surfaced on Nvidia’s YouTube channel, with two members of the company’s GeForce team talking about the 10 games that PC players should be taking note of, especially if they are considering buying or already have RTX graphics cards.

For those unfamiliar with ray tracing, many of the improvements are environmental of PC games, with light, shading, textures and colour representation all said to be enhanced thanks to the technology.

We’ve placed said video at the end of this story, but if data is at a premium or WiFi connectivity not on hand, we’ve listed the 10 games for easier reading below.

The 10 upcoming games with ray tracing support, according to Nvidia, are:

  1. Minecraft
  2. Metro Exodus
  3. Call of Duty Modern Warfare
  4. Control
  5. Wolfenstein: Youngblood
  6. Watch Dogs: Legion
  7. Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2
  8. Dying Light II
  9. Synced: Off Planet
  10. Cyberpunk 2077
