Raru kicks off range of Black Friday sales lasting a week

While Black Friday is technically just one day – 29th November – many companies locally and abroad have chosen to stretch the event out. Raru is doing just that, offering up multiple types of sales lasting an entire week.

From today until 2nd November, various items will be discounted on the site. What makes it a bit different on Raru is the fact that the main page sale rotates with more items entering into the fold every 24 hours.

On the right hand side of the sale you’ll see a “Next Deal” column with a timer. When that timer hits zero, it’s a dash to get the new items. If none of them interest you, you’ll need to wait for the next batch to come in.

If this works the same way it did in 2018, all sale items which do not get sold will remain available until the sale ends. The only way you miss any items is if they sell out.

Aside from the aforementioned main page sale, there are two offshoots: the the Funko Pop Sale and the Mega Board Game Sale.

The Funko Pop sale is claimed to offer more than 50% off with products on offer from R105. The Mega Board Game sale, on the other hand, is up to 45% off.

For this first day of sales, the focus seems to be on videogames, musical instruments, and items for pets. Tomorrow continues this trend with even more instruments being the main additions.
