This africast doesn’t just round up the week or the whole year, but the entire decade as this is the final edition of the show for 2019.

While we’re out of the office we have a range of special features, listicles and other stories to go up between now and the new year. Keep visiting Hyptertext these holidays for specials on Reddit animals, Spider-Man, 3D prints, Netflix, Tech Trends and more.

As for right now our feature section this week starts with the latest Star Wars movie. We’ve seen The Rise of Skywalker and, well, it’s not very good. As always the full review is down below, but listen to us ramble about this mess of a movie for a while.

Next up is the Netflix documentary Don’t F**k With Cats about a real life murderer and how the internet helped to catch him (and potentially helped create him). It’s an absolutely compelling watch but difficult to stomach due to the subject matter.

Finally we sit down with Nancy Meyer, business development director at Kyocera Document Solutions South Africa. Document management may not seem interesting on the surface, but come and learn how it will be a building block to SA’s 4IR future in this interview.
