Where to watch Samsung’s first Galaxy Unpacked event of 2020

Next week Samsung will hold its first Galaxy Unpacked event of 2020. 11th February to be more precise.

It’s noteworthy this year as it is a slight departure from the firm’s usual tactic of hosting an event a day before Mobile World Congress kicks off in Barcelona. Added to this is the expectation that Samsung will reveal its second foldable phone – the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip.

The other device expected in attendance is the Galaxy S20, although the amount of leaked information that has been released to date leaves little to the imagination. Samsung Mobile South Africa will also be hosting a local live streamed event, where we should hopefully get pricing and availability information for the device too.

So when and how can you watch the first Galaxy Unpacked event of 2020?

Well it’s rather simple if you have internet connectivity and a healthy amount of data on hand if WiFi is not an option. This as Samsung will broadcast the live stream for the event on its official YouTube channel, which has been the company’s modus operandi for some time now.

In terms of what time you need to diarise, the event is happening at 11:00 in San Francisco, but for those who do not find themselves on the Eastern seaboard of America, you can tune in from 21:00 in South Africa.

We’ll also be in attendance for the local live streamed event, and will be tweeting out all the important details you need to know about from the Hypertext Twitter account, so be sure to follow.

Perhaps we’ll also get the change to get hands-on with the new foldable device too?
