Short-term roadmap revealed for Temtem

After making quite a splash with its launch in January the developers behind Temtem have revealed what will be happening in the early access game in the foreseeable future.

As such the roadmap for Temtem looks like this:

The full details of the roadmap, which can be read here, dig deeper into the main points shown in the graphic above.

Of interest to us is mention of ELO or a player score which will affect matchmaking. This will be called Tamer Matchmaking Rating, or TMR. “Players will start with some placement matches which will define their initial TMR and after that, they will be matched with each other based on their current TMR. For this first iteration of the matchmaking, we plan to give pansun rewards for each victory as a reward for the time spent battling (based on the opponent’s TMR),” the announcement reads.

Other interesting updates here include that of clubs and player housing. Clubs will be Temtem’s answer to clans and will connect to something called “Dojo Wars” which will be explained in the future. As for housing every single player will be able to own a place to call their own in a location called Atoll Row. These houses can be decorated and players will be able to congregate in them.

Houses will also have some mechanical functionality outside of being a place to decorate, with potential inclusions named being an incubator, jukebox and fruit tree. We’re hoping home grounds to do battles will be included here.

Before ending off it’s worth mentioning that the planned additions and their dates are not set in stone right now so everything mentioned here may change or may be implemented at different times.

If you don’t have enough Temtem in your life consider 3D printing one of the most popular ones – Ganki.
