One of the key tools in fighting the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is information from reliable news sources.

To help in that regard, MultiChoice has announced that several 24-hour news channels will be made freely available via DStv Now.

The channels which will be available include:

  • BBC World
  • CNN
  • eNCA
  • Newzroom Afrika
  • Euronews Now

There is no need to have a DStv subscription to access these news channels but you will need to sign up for DStv Now.

To do that, head to this link and key in your details. After you’ve created an account you will want to skip the option to link your DStv account to DStv Now.

You will also get access to Channel O, PBS for Kids, SuperSport Play and TBN in addition to the aforementioned news channels.

As of the time of writing this offer is limited to South Africa.

For our readers who can’t stream 24-hour news, we have compiled a number of authoritative resources with which you can follow the spread of COVID-19. The Department of Health also launched a COVID-19 website at the weekend which you can use to get accurate information.
