Pandemic or no pandemic the africast is here yet again this week.
Starting off with some news, as always, and we start with the R350 grant the South African government has put in place for certain members of the public, then a snafu with XCOM: Chimera Squad not being rated in the country, and lastly MTN reaching an agreement with the Competition Commission on price reductions.
Then the main topic of this week’s afriast: what have we been up to during this lockdown?
Even for those working from home there’s still a lot more free time when we can’t leave the house. We’ve been filling that time with various forms of media across TV series, movies, videogames, books and more. Come listen for suggestions if you’re bored out of your mind and you’ve seemingly gone through everything on Netflix already. Heard of Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid? Orbitkey? Death’s Gambit?
Oh, and we end off speaking about McDonald’s, which we’ve not been able to buy all lockdown. Absence really does make the heart grow fonder. We’re not sure how that meshes with the heart-slowing effects of eating fast food, but that’s a topic for another time.
