Whenever there is a new flagship phone on the way – namely one from Apple, Samsung or Huawei – it is common for several leaks to surface before the official reveal. That appears to have happened once again, with leaked images of the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra landing online.

Curiously though, the South Korean firm was actually the culprit behind the leak, or rather its Russian website was. A listing for the device was mistakenly (or perhaps not) placed on the site and quickly taken down, but not before a few snaps of the rendered device could be sourced.

Twitter user Ishan Agarwal is credited with snapping the images before the post was removed, and you can see another angle of the Note 20 Ultra and its rear camera setup in particular here.

If we’re honest, we quite like the look of the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, if this is indeed what the finished product will look like. The copper/bronze colour option shown in the header image above is also quite handsome, and could help separate the flagship phone from the usual swathe of silver, grey and gold options on the market.

Shifting back to the Note 20 Ultra’s camera housing, it looks like a trio of lenses are present, with some sort of depth sensing or Time of Flight (ToF) option added to the mix too.

It is unclear if it will be the same system utilised in the Galaxy S20 Ultra, which proved to be a mixed photography experience, but it would not surprise us if the same setup is present.

This is not the first leak of the device, and it definitely will not be the last, with the Galaxy Note 20 and the rest of the flagship lineup expected to be revealed in August. For now though, Samsung has not yet confirmed a date for its next Galaxy Unpacked event.
