Following the reveal of five new devices at Unpacked 2020 last night, we’ve been trying to find pricing on a few of the forthcoming products.
While we know that the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G will fetch a staggering R36 999, we’ve been curious about how much the accessories, the Galaxy Watch 3 and Galaxy Buds Live would cost us.
Samsung has now detailed that pricing.
45mm | 41mm | |
Galaxy Watch 3 LTE | R10 499 | R9 999 |
Galaxy Watch 3 Bluetooth | R9 499 | R8 999 |
For those who are interested the Galaxy Watch 3, the 45mm is available in Mystic Black and Mystic Silver, while the Galaxy Watch 3 41mm is available in Mystic Copper and Mystic Silver.
That is quite a lot of money for a smartwatch though it is still for more affordable compared to Apple’s Watch Series 5. That said, it is more expensive than a mid-range Samsung smartphone.
The Galaxy Buds Live will cost a staggering R3 999. Again, these are cheaper than the Apple AirPods Pro, but still a hard number to digest.
For those who can afford one of Samsung’s new handsets you might be able to get a set of Galaxy Buds Live for free.
If you pre-order a Samsung Galaxy Note 20 or Note 20 Ultra 5G via the Samsung website you will get a R4 000 voucher which you can use to purchase your new earbuds or put towards a new watch.
Following all of this information to kit yourself out with a Galaxy Note 20 5G, a 45mm Galaxy Watch 3 and the Galaxy Buds Live, expect to pay at least R51 497 without any discounts applied.
That’s a lot of money anyway you slice it.
