Last month Tarsus Distribution announced that its partnership with Dell EMC was expanding, and now another local distributor, Drive Control Corporation (DCC) has a similar announcement that should be of interest to its enterprise partners.

This as DCC and Dell EMC will be extending their relationship, which has been going for 12 years already, as it has secured the distribution rights to tech firm’s high-end data management and protection platforms.

The distributor confirms that availability of these enterprise solutions is immediate, with it now providing access to Dell EMC’s wide range of end-to-end enterprise solutions that enable and equip companies for digital transformation.

“We are excited with these important additions to our channel offering. Dell Technologies continues to offer truly innovative and ground-breaking solutions to the market and now we can form part of this value proposition to a highly competitive channel environment,” notes Jaco Erasmus, enterprise manager for the Dell EMC department at DCC.

“We live in a data first era and how you take advantage of, manage and protect your data are key ingredients to a successful business. This portfolio addition gives us the ability to offer our partners a solution to their customer’s data management and protection needs, and helps them unlock the true value of their data,” he enthuses.

Highlighting some of the offerings, it is the enterprise storage that DCC is particularly excited for customers to get access to. These include Dell EMC’s PowerFlex, PowerMax, PowerStore, Unity XT, PowerVault and the SC Series.

“Dell PowerStore, for example, integrates automation, next- generation technology, and a novel software architecture to deliver infrastructure that helps organisations address their digital transformation challenges,” explains a press release regarding the announcement.

As more companies look to ramp up digital transformation as a result of COVID-19, it looks like DCC is ensuring it has the right partners onboard to assist its customers.
