Finally, the iPhone 12 arrives in SA on 18th December

Nearly three months after its release Stateside, the Apple iPhone 12 will finally arrive in South Africa on 18th December.

This launch date was announced by iStore this morning by way of a press release sent to Hypertext.

“iStore has announced that it will offer [the] iPhone 12 range on 18 December 2020 starting from R15 999 online and in-stores nationwide for both cash and cellular contract upgrades. Customers will be able to visit their closest iStore or have their phone delivered directly to them, no matter where they are over the holiday season,” the iStore wrote.

The retailer will offer the handset on contract through MTN, Vodacom and Telkom though you can purchase the range for cash.

On that note, the cash price of each iPhone 12 model follows below.

iStore is also taking trade-ins which means you can get a discount on the price of your new iPhone when you sell your old handset. You can get up to R12 000 back but this figure depends largely on which model iPhone you are trading in.

You can shop the entire iPhone 12 range here though it doesn’t appear as if you can pre-order the range yet.
