The third season of Fall Guys is upon us with a wintery theme to tie into the holidays, and in the spirit of the season there’s some free content available to players. Kind of.

We add that qualification there because this offer is only open to Amazon Prime subscribers which is, of course, a paid subscription. No such thing as a free lunch and all that.

For Fall Guys players with a Prime subscription you will get three crowns and an exclusive costume called the Winter Warmer shown in the header image above.

For players new to the game the three crowns is a nice shot in the arm but comes far short of getting some of the premium stuff in the game. The crossover costumes for Sonic and Godzilla, for example, both cost ten crowns in total to complete when they were available. To get stuff like that you will need to win your own crowns by playing the game.

According to this brief how to on the official Fall Guys website, here’s the steps to get your stuff:

  1. “Open up Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout on your platform of choice.
  2. Navigate to the Settings menu and select ‘Profile’.
  3. Select the ‘Link Amazon Account’ option. You will be given a unique code to link your Prime account with Fall Guys.
  4. Follow the instructions to access the Amazon website and enter the code.
  5. Once the code has been accepted, your accounts are linked!”

After following these steps the crowns and costume should appear in your game automatically. Should that not happen a restart of the game should fix things.

Aside from the Winter Warmer more costumes should be coming to Amazon Prime Gaming. There’s a dedicated page for Fall Guys where you can see that content is planned until at least May 2021. We’re not sure right now if every new month will add both crowns and costumes, so we’ll have to wait and see.
