This week the first true MCU show will release in the form of WandaVision when its first two episodes premiere on Disney+ come 15th January.

WandaVision is a show built on the mystique of its premise: despite the events of Infinity War and Endgame – especially the death of one of the main characters here – Wanda and Vision find themselves in an idyllic American home as a married couple while they live through tropes of TV sitcoms over the years.

“The series is a blend of classic television and the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff and Vision—two super-powered beings living idealized suburban lives—begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems,” reads the official description of the show.

Now we can get into theory crafting and the most likely comic basis for this story (The House of M), but we’re going to be more official here as Disney has released a lot of content around the show to get you involved before 15th January.

Below you’ll find, in reverse chronological order, all the trailers, snippets and contexts videos released for the show so far. There’s a decent chunk of these videos, 11 by our count, but most of them are short and would take the place of a traditional TV spot. These videos seem to be released every day or so in this lead up to the show’s debut with the most recent one coming out a handful of hours ago at the time of writing.

Having watched all of the above we wouldn’t consider any of it to be in the spoiler category, as the mystery of the show carries over to the marketing. That being said we do get some glimpses of returning MCU characters and objects.

Darcy Lewis, the character played by Kat Dennings in the first two Thor movies, is shown briefly in one of these trailers. Jimmy Woo, played by Randall Park in Ant-Man and the Wasp, also appears in many of the videos, though the short cut of footage we see of him is reused every time.

Also in the realm of reused footage is flashes of the yellow infinity stone – the Mind Stone which was once implanted right into Vision’s head before Thanos, erm, borrowed it.

Of final note is Disney+ itself. The service is still not available in most countries legally leaving places like us in South Africa unable to legally watch this show. last year we were hoping this would change before the release of WandaVision but with a handful a days before the premiere we doubt this will change.
