Where to watch tonight’s Apple Event live

Tonight at 19:00 CAT, Apple will unveil some new hardware with handsets and a new wearable set to take centre stage.

While we will be covering the news live as it happens, you can head to the Apple website at 19:00 CAT or you can stream the event live on YouTube here.

While there is much talk about new Apple silicon at the moment, we aren’t expecting to see any new computers this evening. The firm could break from tradition but tonight, as with every September event, we’re expecting new iPhones.

Four new iPhones are set to be unveiled, if rumours are to be believed. Word on the street is that Apple will unveil the iPhone 13 mini, a base iPhone 13 and Pro and Pro Max iterations of the iPhone 13. We’re not so sure about the naming of this iPhone though.

Given how superstitious the US is about the number 13, we’re really expecting Apple to opt for something else here in place of 13. Our money is on the new iteration being named the iPhone XD or X and some other letter the Apple marketing team can assign a meaning to.

As mentioned a new Apple Watch is expected along with new health monitoring features and there may be an update to the widely loved AirPods.

We’re also curious to see if Apple unveils new services or perhaps a wider rollout of existing services such as Apple One.

As mentioned we will be covering the event as it happens so be sure to follow us over on Twitter for all the news and announcements as they happen.

We also couldn’t resist including California Dreamin’ from The Mamas & The Papas given Apple’s prompt.
