Set aside 80GB for Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy on PC

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is out next week on 26th October and the official Twitter account for the game has clarified how much storage you will need.

For those tight on space you’ll be happy to see that the estimated size for the game has gone down but is still rather high at 80GB.

Well we say rather high but around 100GB is where most AAA games hover in size nowadays.

That isn’t where the discussion about the PC port ends as a newsletter sent out by publisher Square Enix a few hours ago highlights several features of the game.

“Play Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy on an NVIDIA GeForce RTX PC to experience high levels of fidelity, real-time ray tracing, NVIDIA DLSS’ AI-powered performance boost, diffuse illumination, HDR and wide color gamut, and up to 8K resolution,” reads the description.

The trailer accompanying this newsletter, embedded below, was actually uploaded some time ago but was done so as an unlisted video so many people have not seen it yet.

The newsletter also points out that those who want to experience certain Nvidia features without the hardware to do so can also play the game from day one through cloud gaming service GeForce Now.

If you prefer to play on your own PC the system requirements for the game is as follows:

Minimum –

  • OS: Windows® 10 64 bit Build 1803
  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 1400 / Intel Core i5-4460
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM

  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Storage: 80 GB available space
