This month TECNO Mobile is readying to launch a new device in the form of the CAMON 17P.

It is the latest in well specced and affordably priced mid-range phones from a brand that is slowly building its presence in SA.

Like the previous TECNO devices launched locally, namely the Spark 7 Pro, the CAMON 17P serves up a great display, battery and camera performance in order to win over consumers who are willing to take a chance on a lesser known brand.

To that end the CAMON 17P features a large 6.8″ FullHD+ display up front with a punch hole to house its 16MP selfie camera.

Added to this is a 64MP primary lens on the rear, supported by three more lenses to create a quad camera array. As for the battery, a massive 5 000mAh unit is present, featuring 18W flash charging as TECNO Mobile terms it.

The device will also be running Android 11 when it is made available to local consumers this month.

In terms of pricing, the recommended retail price is R4 999 for the 6GB RAM (128GB storage) model of CAMON 17P, with Frost Silver, Magnet Black and Spruce Green colour options present.
