This Apple Car Concept uses real patents filed by the company

Rumours of an Apple Concept Car have floated around in one form or another for the better part of a decade. While the Cupertino-based firm is yet to officially divulge plans for such a vehicle, it is at least interesting to image what an Apple Car would look like.

That’s precisely what the team at Vanarama have done. While the company specialises in selling cars online, it has used the rather ingenious move of incorporating existing Apple patents and products into the design of the Concept seen here.

The company has also done the same for Google and Samsung, but the Apple version is the most fleshed out, featuring both the interior and exterior of the Concept Car.

To that end the mesh-like grill up front is akin to the Mac Pro released a couple of years ago that drew comparisons to a cheese grater. The frosted white finish of the vehicle is said to mirror that of the iPhone 4, along with the door handles also resembling the side buttons of the smartphone.

As for the pillar-less black glass windows and panoramic roof, both of those elements actually come from a patent filed by the company. There’s also a customised touch-enabled dashboard and Siri integrated into the infotainment system.

Whether Apple would ever design something so futuristic and retro at the same time is unclear, but at least we have some eye candy to fawn over while we wait.
