Everything you get in the Bungie 30th Anniversary pack for Destiny 2

Today marks the launch of the Bungie 30th Anniversary event for Destiny 2. This DLC requires an extra purchase either as part of The Witch Queen Deluxe Bundle or as a standalone purchase.

Bungie has been rather secretive about what this event included until Tuesday, hours before its launch.

While players knew that the new Dungeon, Grasp of Avarice would be included in the DLC, there was precious little information about what the asking price gave players in return.

The list of Reward available to players who own the DLC includes:

  • Bungie Streetwear Armour set
  • Grasp of Avarice Dungeon
  • Gjallarhorn Exotic Rocket Launcher
  • Gjallarhorn Exotic Catalyst
  • Gjallarhorn Exotic Weapon Ornament
  • Thorn Armour Sets
  • Hero of Ages Sword
  • Matador 64 Shotgun
  • Eyasluna Hand Cannon
  • 1000-Yard Stare Sniper Rifle
  • Gjallarswift Exotic Sparrow
  • Marathon Armour Ornament Set
  • Flaming Tiger Helmet Ornament
  • Four Emotes
  • Inspired Eidolon Sparrow
  • Unixursal Voyager Exotic Ship

Some of the rewards above appear to require a completion of the Grasp of Avarice Dungeon although the route to those rewards remains unclear.

Also launching today is the Dares of Eternity, a new six player matchmade activity. This activity is free to all players and the rewards include:

  • Forerunner Exotic Sidearm
  • Forerunner Exotic Sidearm Catalyst
  • BxR-55 Battler Legendary Pulse Rifle
  • Half-Truths Legendary Sword
  • Retraced Path Legendary Trace Rifle
  • Wastelander M5 Legendary Shotgun
  • Pardon our Dust Legendary Grenade Launcher

This is a lot of value for money considering the amount of content on offer here. Even if you only take part in the Dares of Eternity the combined nature of Moments of Triumph and this Anniversary event should prove rewarding.

With that having been said, the presence of Gjallarhorn is bound to have LFG sites swarming with “must have Gjallarhorn” posts.

You can read more about the Bungie 30th Anniversary event here. Bungie is currently targeting a launch time of 19:00 CAT for the event provided the influx of players doesn’t light the servers up.

There are also a host of changes coming to the game which you can read more about in the patch notes here.
