Local insurer Naked Insurance has announced that that it has paid more than R1 million in client referral rewards.

While that is a large amount of rewards, we’re surprised that it isn’t higher. Naked’s approach to insurance is underpinned by the fact that its platform is fully digital. This means you can not only take up insurance for your house or car in seconds, claims are also handled in record time.

Unlike traditional referral schemes, Naked generates a unique link clients can share on WhatsApp, social media, email, or anywhere you can share a link really. This means means you don’t have to give Naked any of your family or friend’s personal information.

Even if the person you referred purchases a Naked insurance product off a different quote at a later time, you will still earn your referral fee, as long as their first visit to the Naked app or website was via your unique referral link.
