Two Sides documentary available to stream on Showmax Pro now, standard Showmax next month

Last month SuperSport began airing the Two Sides documentary series, which focused on the build up, matches and controversy that surrounded the 2021 British and Irish Lions Tour of South Africa.

It made for many memorable moments for sports and Springbok fans, which is why you may be pleased to hear that Two Sides will be available to stream on Showmax Pro and Showmax.

The former service is the first to get access to the documentary series starting today, 16th June, with the standard version of Showmax set to receive it on 1st July.

“The series shows us exclusive footage and insight on all the struggles that players and management had to endure. Preparing for the British and Irish Lions is one thing. Doing it while working in the confines of bubbles and training with players in and out isolation added to the challenge,” highlights Showmax in a press release sent to Hypertext.

“Through interviews with the players, we get to see how this current group of South African players desperately wanted to add a coveted series trophy that could sit alongside the World Cup. Two Sides not only takes us into the Springbok changing room, but also shows the British and Irish Lions up close, giving a palpable sense of the passion and sacrifice required for someone to don the famous red jersey,” it adds.

If you are interested in watching the series, but do not have access to either streaming service, Showmax Pro costs R225 per month, while Showmax has a 14-day trial after which you will pay from R39 a month.
