Monday got off to a slow start after a long weekend and folks taking an extra day to take advantage of an even longer break. Of course the world keeps turning and news keeps news so we have your SPEEDRUN for Monday’s news so you know what’s happening.
First off, Eskom expects to have Medupi Unit 4 and Kusile Unit 6 back online by the end of this month. In addition, Unit 2 at Koeberg is also expected to add 980MW. If all goes well, South Africa will be generating an additional 2 500MW of electricity by the month’s end.
Then there are several bursaries that Matric students can apply for if they intend to further their studies in 2025.
Sticking with local news, Magic Mike star and Dungeons & Dragons nerd Joe Manganiello will be attending Comic Con Africa in September and it looks like he’ll be there all weekend.
