SpaceX completes its 100th landing of a Falcon 9 rocket
Following a cosmic disaster earlier this month, SpaceX launched 46 more satellites into orbit on Monday.
Following a cosmic disaster earlier this month, SpaceX launched 46 more satellites into orbit on Monday.
A Falcon 9 rocket that has been in a chaotic orbit since 2015 is expected to hit the Moon on 4th March.
SpaceX’s reusable rocket earns its name.
There are three seats aboard the Crew Dragon spacecraft but one has already been claimed.
SpaceX has successfully landed Falcon 9 a total of 30 times.
And we thought we had a busy weekend.
“It’s really a great day not only for SpaceX but the space industry as a whole,” says Elon Musk as his firm launches and lands a used rocket.
The Falcon 9 exploded while SpaceX was conducting a test-firing.
This launch was different than before, as the distance of the Japanese satellite’s orbit is further than what it normally undertakes.
Finally, Elon Musk’s SpaceX not only launched a rocket, but brought it safely back to Earth as well.
After a disastrous set back in June and a few delays this weekend, SpaceX will once again launch Falcon 9.
The rocket will carry the Dragon spacecraft to the International Space Station to collect and deliver supplies.
