Bioshock, XCOM and other classics going cheap in 2K’s Humble Bundle

2K makes some of the best games around, and now you can own many of their top titles for a teeny tiny amount of cash: they’re available on the Humble Bundle Store for the next two weeks.

As you may know, the Humble Bundle Store lets gamers pay what they want for a selection of games with a minimum donation of $1 (just less than R11), and should they donate more than the average, they will unlock even more games.

In this particular bundle’s case, you can get the first Bioshock, The Darkness II and The Bureau: XCOM Declassified for the minimum donation. Should you give more than the current average of $7.35 (R80-ish) , you’ll also get Bioshock 2, Mafia II and Spec Ops: The Line, and if you’re feeling super-generous and have a spare R220 (or more) you can also get XCOM: Enemy Unknown and Bioshock Infinite.

A great way to save

Every one of these games is easily worth $10 each (well except for The Bureau: XCOM Declassified – it sucked), so you can really score here. All of these games redeem on Steam for easy downloading and management too, so it’s a really sweet deal. It’s also a great way to be a super-cheapskate and pick up games you may have missed for less than the price of a two-litre Coke.

The other thing I love so much about the Humble Bundle Store is that you can split your donation between the store itself, the publisher, a charity or any mix of the three. That way you can make sure your money goes exactly where you want it to.

More to come

Keep an eye on the page, there’s a very promising “More games coming soon!” placeholder icon that means other 2K games will shortly be making an appearance. Should you buy at the appropriate tier when those new games are added, you’ll get those added to your bundle as well.

This particular offer is proving incredibly popular, having sold over 162 000 bundles at the time of writing even though it’s less than 24 hours old. If you’ve not played any of these games, or even just one or two, now’s a fantastic time to grab them for cheap.
