Breast Cancer Awareness Month: Four apps every woman (and man) should have

October is breast cancer awareness month in a number of countries including South Africa. There’s a reason for this: according to Journey of Hope one in 29 women in South Africa will be diagnosed with breast cancer at some stage in their life and 1% of all breast cancers are found in men.

Although there are life-saving treatments that could possibly cure patients of the disease, information and prevention are better than cure. The following apps will help you know all you need to know and help you in your journey to getting treatment if you have already been diagnosed with breast cancer.
