Sony InZone headsets for PC and PlayStation get local pricing

Last week Sony made moves into the PC gaming space with the announcement of new hardware that really could be used anywhere, even with an Xbox.

Dubbed the InZone range, for now the product offering is limited to monitors and headsets. At the time we weren’t sure whether South Africa would receive this gear but we have since heard from Sony.

For now it looks as if South Africans will only be able to purchase the InZone headsets. We have asked about the monitors in a follow up email but for now let’s focus on what we can get.

All three of the InZone headsets will be available in South Africa at the beginning of August 2022 and you can see the recommended pricing below:

  • InZone H3 headset – R1 499
  • InZone H7 headset – R4 999
  • InZone H9 headset – R6 999

That InZone H9 headset looks rather pricey but it does boast noise cancellation as well as an ambient sound mode. Above that, Sony claims the headset will yield up to 32 hours of battery life and up to an hour of use with a 10 minute charge.

All of the InZone headsets feature 360 spatial sound and all models are wireless.

As mentioned we’ve put in a call regarding the InZone monitors but we suspect that they won’t come cheap so start saving up.
