Welcome to the first of a new regular feature we’re introducing to htxt.africa: Map of the Week. Every week, we plan to find an exciting interactive map of South African space and publish in time to lose yourself for hours over the weekend. To kick off, it’s the Joburg Green Map, a painstakingly curated guide to all the organic food shops, farmers’ markets, recycling bins,  biofuel sales and other hippy-ish lifestyle accoutrement vendors who will become increasingly important as fuel bills rise. If you live in Joburg, you have to check it out. Also has advice for saving energy at home.

Going green not your thing? Comment below and suggest a different map for next week.
