Citymob brings Cape Town’s Neighbour Goods Market to your doorstep

Citymob, the online retailer that has sales for all sorts of curiosities, has bagged a really special partnership. Starting today, and for the next 30 days, it’ll offer items usually sold at Cape Town’s Neighbour Goods Market (NGM).

The NGM, held every Saturday at the Mother City’s Old Biscuit Mill, brings big crowds to the pop-up storefronts of many artisanal traders and home industries. From handmade habanero sauces and chocolate spreads, to biscuits, coffee, tea towels, jewellery, and clothing – all those NGM specialities can now be ordered from the comfort of your desktop which, presumably, is nowhere near the weather-challenged shores of Cape Town.

Citymob’s NGM pop-up shop brings unique items to its clients, and small businesses in Cape Town now gain the audience of an entire country. The only thing online shoppers miss out on is the spirit of the market, chatting to fellow culture-lovers, and the view of that damn mountain. Jealous Jo’burgers? Us? Not at all.
