There are trade shows, and there are trade shows. And then there’s Mobile World Congress, the annual Spanish jamboree for everyone and everyone involved with mobile phones: which let’s face it is everyone these days. It’s a huge event, and you really need to be there.

And now you can. As a side event to Mobile Web  Africa – which takes place on the 10th and 11th September at Randlords in Johannesburg – there’s an app pitching compo called AppCircus. It’s simple, enter your app ahead of time on the AppCircus web page here, and the best 10 will be invited to pitch on stage on 11th September in front of a jury of industry experts.

The overall winner on the night will win a plane ticket to MWC 2015, and a three day visitor pass to get inside, plus a chance to pitch at the Mobile Premier Awards during the conference.

What are you waiting for?
