This is what Ubuntu on tablets is looking like

More pre-news news from Mobile World Congress, which kicks off in Barcelona on Monday. This time it’s from South African-flavoured OS, Ubuntu, where the developers are one step closer to achieving their long term ambition of a single operating system for phone, mobile and desktop that seamlessly switches between touch screen and mouse and keyboard optimisations depending on what sort of computery-phone type thing you’re holding.

The interface itself is Unity 8, the next version of the same interface Ubuntu currently uses on desktop. The vid isn’t great quality, but you get the idea. Looks pretty good to us. Should be more news next week.
