One of the biggest games of the year seems to have encountered a fatal issue that prevents you from playing it.
When launching CD Projekt Red’s The Witcher 3, the Wild Hunt is further hindering your ability to save Ciri by returning you to the console’s dashboard with an error.
Our Charlie Fripp encountered the same issue, and contacted Xbox Support for a possible solution.
@CharlieFripp Yep! Hold on, please, we’re working that all out now and will post updates on http://t.co/cQHiawDzdW. ^PC

On Xbox Live’s service status, Microsoft confirmed that it is aware of the problem, but working to fix it.
“Are you unable to launch or install The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt? We’re working to address this ASAP! Thanks for staying patient. We’ll fill you in as soon as we know more,” it said. The problem has been encountered by a number of people who bought the game digitally, and Kotaku wrote that it could be related to a licensing issue.
“If you bought The Witcher 3 digitally on Xbox One, there’s a chance you can’t play the game right now. There’s a licensing issue—error “0x87de2726”—that’s preventing the game from booting up, but Microsoft is aware of the problem and working on it,” it wrote.
@bwdavis22 Hey there, our teams are looking into this currently. More info and updates at http://t.co/cQHiawDzdW ^LB — Xbox Support (@XboxSupport3) June 3, 2015
Apparently #Witcher3 is having some widespread loading issues on the #XboxOne. Seems they are looking into it urgently.
