We recently wrote about Sahara Systems and their big push into the maker scene with a new facility packed to the brim with 3D printers, scanners and filaments, as well as their partnership with CADHouse.
Now they’re opening their doors to the public for a 3D Printing Open Day that promises to familiarise the public with 3D printing as well as seminars to discuss the industry.
The workshops are an hour long and will involve a crash course in 3D printing covering design, pre-processing for 3D printing and sending a print job to a printer.
The day will also include demonstrations on more than 30 different 3D printers, including the industrial-sized ProX 500. Some lucky visitors will also have the opportunity to have themselves 3D scanned and printed for a nominal fee.
