M1 Pro and Max MacBook Pros start at R36 299, pre-orders now open

Following the absolutely stunning reception to the M1 powered MacBooks released in 2020, Apple fans are itching to get their hands on the new MacBook Pro series announced by Apple earlier this month.

Locally purveyor of Apple goods, iStore, has announced that pre-orders are open for the new MacBook Pros featuring the all new M1 Pro and M1 Max silicon.

The notebooks will ship from 5th November although it’s not clear whether there will be stock on hand or whether that date is exclusively for pre-orders.

Pricing starts at R36 299 for the 14inch MacBook Pro which sports an octa-core M1 Pro CPU, 14-core GPU, 16GB of memory and 512GB of storage. The other end of the spectrum is the MacBook Pro 16inch sporting the M1 Max deca-core CPU, 32-core GPU, 32GB of memory and 1TB of storage which will cost R63 499.

Full pricing for all models can be found in the table below

You can of course trade in your old MacBook or Windows notebook and get one of these new MacBooks. Details on that can be found at this link.
