Watch Doc Ock get bullied by teenagers in a new No Way Home trailer

Most adults know that teenagers kind of suck and it seems that sentiment translates to the MCU as we see in the newest trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home.

After the first trailer revealed that both Green Goblin and Doc Ock from the Raimi trilogy would be returning here it’s the latter getting dunked on by Peter Parker, MJ and Ned.

Doc Ock gets laughed at by the trio when he tells them his name. Is Doctor Otto Octavius an inherently funny name? Yes, yes it is, but show the man with the metal tentacles some respect you damn kids.

With the cloud ranting out of the way this trailer reveals, well, most of the plot of the movie.

After Spidey has his identity revealed he seeks out Doctor Strange to cast a spell to make the world forget. This spell backfires and causes multidimensional problems. Doctor Strange then reveals that Spider-Man villains are killed in battle with the superhero and that is some kind of constant that needs to happen to set things right.

Not wanting to be the cause of so much death Spider-Man seemingly teams up with the mocked Doc Ock to try and fix things with less blood.

This trailer also continues from the first in the fact that Doctor Strange doesn’t seem himself. This leads into theories that this isn’t the real Strange as his behaviour, and even his dialogue in this trailer, doesn’t match up with the version of this character we’ve seen before.

This trailer also gives us a closer look at the classic Goblin played by Willem Dafoe, but the real interest is in the “new” returning villains.

Electro, played by Jamie Foxx in the Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014) is back, as is – seemingly – Dr. Curtis Connors / Lizard played by Rhys Ifans in the Amazing Spider-Man (2012).

The final villain reveal is Sandman. This seems to be the same Sandman played by Thomas Haden Church in Spider-Man 3 (2007) but it’s difficult to tell.

These reveals line up with dozens of leaks, especially the new costume for Electro which has been floating around the internet for months now.

With every new official reveal it seems that the leaks only become more credible, including pictures that show the return of past Spider-Men in Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield.

This second trailer was heavily expected to finally announce that the two would appear in this movie, but it seems we need to wait a bit longer for that to happen.

Spider-Man: No Way Home is planned for a release in theatres only come 17th December.
