We are finally at the end of January 2022 and God of War has snuck in another win as it is, yet again, the top selling game on Steam.
Every week the third party tracking site Steam Database (SteamDB) provides a top ten list of the best performers on the store ordered by revenue generated in that week, and God of War has claimed the top spot just like it did last week.
Because both SteamDB and Valve itself don’t provide us with actual numbers we have to look to other sources for some numbers about the performance of the game.
We’re seeing some reports that the game has generated a 250 percent return on investment but we hope Sony or Santa Monica Studio releases some hard data on the success of the game.

Dying Light 2 Stay Human claims both third and fifth on this list, a feat achievable because of the fact that Steam lists the different versions of a game separately. With the base version as well as deluxe ultimate versions available this isn’t too much of a surprise, especially considering that Dying Light 2 is the second most wishlisted game on Steam.
The first most wishlisted game is Elden Ring, which is also here in the fourth spot.
The only real surprise on this list is the Platinum Founder’s Pack Package for upcoming game Lost Ark. We’re not too surprised that it’s here, rather that we can’t access this DLC or the page for the main game on Steam from South Africa.
Firing up a VPN through the USA we can see that this pack costs a whopping $99.99 and will unlock various content for Lost Ark when it launches on 11th February.
According to the website for the game the platinum pack is the highest tier available with gold, silver and bronze also open for purchase, if you live in a supported region.
