Earlier today Samsung Mobile South Africa hosted its first Galaxy Unpacked event of 2022, bringing with it a trio of new flagship phones with the Galaxy S22 series.
The new devices, particularly the S22 and S22+ look a lot like their predecessors, but the S22 Ultra features a new design and the addition of a Note-esque S Pen stylus recessed into the frame of the phone.
What that means for the Galaxy Note down the line remains to be seen, but Android phone fans now have three new devices to fawn over.
Accompanying the announcements, we also have local pricing and availability information for the Galaxy S22 series, with Samsung Mobile South Africa confirming the recommended pricing as follows:
Galaxy S22 – R19 999 (RRP).
Galaxy S22+ – R22 999 (RRP).
Galaxy S22 Ultra – R28 999 (RRP).
All three devices will go up for sale in SA on 11th March, and before you ask, no there isn’t a charger included in the box. As such, you may want to keep an eye out for bundled offers from local retailers that adds the charger to the mix.
