Forget Elden Ring, unofficial Bloodborne Kart is coming

It wasn’t too long ago when karting games were rather common and developer would take their popular franchise and retool it for a fun racing title. Now a fan is doing that in Bloodborne Kart with an original PlayStation edge.

Some of you may have already connected the dots but, yes, this is the work of Lilith Walther, one of the people behind the now famous Bloodborne PSX Demake.

The demake has become one of the most popular fan creations in the FromSoftware community and many people have been wanting more. The idea of a kart game was even an April Fool’s joke last year so it’s not like this idea has come from nowhere.

While all of this is great news and we can’t wait to play, this again highlights the fact that the original Bloodborne is still not available on PC and doesn’t even have some kind of enhanced edition for the PlayStation 5.

Many consider Bloodborne one of the best games ever made and certain FromSoftware fans even hold it as the greatest game from the company, which makes it more frustrating that it has been left as is for so long.

This announcement also coincides with the seventh anniversary of the game as Bloodborne originally released today, 25 March in 2015 (or 24th March depending on your time zone).

Back to the new kart game and below you can see the reveal of Bloodborne Kart on Twitter together with a brief teaser trailer, a video of the title screen and credits for other creators contributing to this fan game.
