Asus South Africa launches a local online store

Over the past couple of years we have seen a number of consumer electronics brands embrace ecommerce, not only making its products more readily available online, but launching standalone digital shopfronts too.

Now Asus South Africa has joined that group of brands, with a new eCommerce Store being announced.

The store was accessible during a soft launch phase recently, attracting over 3 000 sign-ups in the process, but today marks its fully fledged opening to the South Africa online public.

“The ASUS Store works on a 2-in-1 website module, which allows us to get better insight on our customers and what they are currently looking for,” explains Jessica Burnett, eCommerce Solution manager at ASUS South Africa.

“At ASUS we strive purpose driven innovation and the customer experience through our online store is the latest example of that. Ensuring that customers have access to all ASUS and Republic of gamers laptops in one place,” she adds.

The store offers secure online payments and delivery nationwide, with debit and credit cards facilitated via PayFast and monthly credit options serviced by Mobicred.

In terms of the other important admin elements, Asus South Africa says the store offers free standard delivery for all orders over R450, and an option for next-day delivery at an additional cost. Added to this is a 14-day return-policy, as well as a full 3-year pick-up and return policy to all store customers.

As for some of the products you’ll be able to pick up, Asus has highlighted the following:

  • Zenbook Duo 14” from R32 999
  • Vivobook Pro 14X OLED from R24 999
