Kyocera brings two new printers with a year of free toner to market

Hybrid and remote workers looking for a printer may want to keep an eye out for the latest models from Kyocera Document Solutions South Africa (KDZA) – the MA2000w and PA2000w.

These printers are incredibly compact and have decent specs, but the real value here is in the consumables. Both printers ship with two bottles of toner each which collectively yields around 3 000 prints.

“This effectively offers free prints for a year, or more, depending on prints,” explains hardware product manager for KDZA, Yena Ngidi.

“The MA2000w and PA2000w were created as compact, lightweight, affordable, and flexible print solutions that can be easily carried between workplaces. They are intuitive devices with wireless connection that work straight out of the box. Customers simply open the package, download the Client Tool using the QR code, and they are good to go.”

The MA2000w and PA2000w are capable of printing up to 20 pages per minute and KDZA claims that the EcoPrint mode cuts power consumption by around 30 percent. This is good news if you’re running a generator or backup power solution during loadshedding and need to use your printer.

“By combining Kyocera’s technology, unbeatable reliability, and robust security, these devices are ready to meet the demands of the modern user looking for adaptable, eco-friendly, stress free, portable and contactless technology,” says Ngidi.

Both the MA2000w and PA2000w are currently available on Takealot with prices starting at R3 679.
