SPOILERS AHEAD FOR GOTHAM KNIGHTS.

Reviews for Gotham Knights have now been shared online, with the official embargo for the game elapsing earlier today.

While the general public will only gain access to the title tomorrow when it launches, we have reviewed the game ourselves, and have been able to share some in-game footage. We are also able to share the opening prologue of the game, which features the death of Batman.

This comes at the hands of Ra’s al Ghul, with Batman being fatally wounded during a fight in the Batcave. Before he takes his last breath, Batman decides to blow up the Batcave and all its contents, with Wayne Manor going up in smoke in the process.

The aftermath sees his four wards – Nightwing (Dick Grayson), Red Hood (Jason Todd), Batgirl (Barbara Gordon) and Robin (Tim Drake) find his dead body in the rubble. This is followed by a funeral and then all four sidekicks meet at night to discuss what the next steps are.

Once you pick the first Gotham Knight to use in the opening mission of the game, the camera pans upwards before fading to black and the game’s logo lights up on screen.
